Lol, so as long as he isn't talking it is worth having a 'fine tuned' radio. Lol!

 

Basically folks, no matter what antenna/radio whatever....the Mud Dick will dominate your signal and you can listen for traffic/accident concerns in between his mikes.

LOL!!!

 

Just knowing I can disconnect my antenna and key up my radio for a solid minute without blowing up the final transistors makes it worth having. I'd like to see you do that with yours.

 

I like to use mine to LISTEN for traffic/accident reports. I rarely speak on it.

But since the Mud Dick has been over broadcasting everyone I can no longer hear traffic/accident reports.

But hey. If you like the Mud Dick in the desert, enjoy.

 

I enjoy listening on mine as well. It's unfortunate you are unable to hear the information you need when the opportunity presents itself.

I woke up to my daughter making me a full English breakfast at 4am

 

I love my RigExpert. Wouldn't be without it. I've also used a nanoVNA and I'd hands down take the RigExpert any day for basic antenna measurements. It's just simpler and quicker. I'd probably buy a nanoVNA if I needed to test VHF/UHF antennas though. My RigExpert only goes up to 35MHz.

 

A big ole kitchen sink omlet,home fries,toast n tea....30 min drive to home after that and slide under the sheets...Woke up to a nice sunny day....Seems like its been forever for winter to go..
