Good sensitivity, good selectivity, and good audio, I have no problems with it.
I haven't tried it yet, but that's what I was told.

    Vampire Thanks this.

Are there any advantages to this one over the 5555 and 6666?

    Vampire Thanks this.

I think there is, I like it better than the 6666 I had.

Think of a more traditional radio, not ham.

Without replacing capacitors and other components, how do you adjust amplitude at every frequency within the audio spectrum?
Intermodulation distortion alters audio fidelity at various frequencies and isn't a good thing and drastically decreases performance.
It can only be rectified by using matched components.
At what frequency within the audio spectrum? What about all the rest of the frequencies within the audio spectrum? The curve is critical.

Rabbi, stop trying to split hairs, the radio is a good performer, it sounds good, it receives well and between the other anytone radios, it is a better choice to me.

If we want HP out of a radio, then we need to return to sparkgap transmitters and TRF receivers.

    Vampire and Timin770 Thank this.

How low many watts does it do if the power switch is turned all the way down?

    Vampire Thanks this.
