Any microphone you decide to plug into it unless it's caked with mud and grime or a higher impedance than 10,000 ohms

That's the best answer you got? You know the mic element is key to great sounding audio, not just the radio.

Hee, there doesn't seem to be any way to reason with him when it comes to radios. I imagine as a close friend to Rabbi and talking about radios, it would be about as exciting as a porcupine in a balloon factory.

Well that's for sure. You hit the nail on the head there.Oxbow Thanks this.

Mark said unto him, "Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the rooster crow, thou shalt deny me thrice."
Oxbow Thanks this. -
All microphones produce sounds your radio is incapable of reproducing. What's your point? The limiting factor is always going to be your radio.

There's a difference between facts and opinions. I'm open-minded when it comes to both but when people misrepresent their opinion as a fact and they don't have any test equipment to back up their opinions, I'm not going to be too receptive.

I was stating facts but you won't listen to what I was saying. I do have test equipment, but my point was I could hear the distortion on 2 of the 3 CA-73 cobra mics I had. Test equipment or not it didn't matter. Their was no distortion on the 3rd mic using the same radio. So I honestly don't believe your Anytone radio would clear up the distortion from the first 2 microphones just because of who tuned your radio. It really doesn't matter, it's all good.Last edited: Jul 21, 2023
