My issue with this way of thinking is that some people don’t understand how much capacity was added to the marketplace when times were good. Rutherford was speaking about a report last week on his show that was showing freight volume that is similar to this time last year still.

These companies shutting down could be any number of factors. Insurance, company expansion when they shouldn’t have, high debt load.

 

Combination of factors for sure but I also think for some that were on the edge when things bounced back it was to little to late .

 

This has me thinking...How many companies were on the verge of going under prior to 2018 and then 2018 happened and it just prolonged everything a little bit?
