I heard this will improve MPG?

Get a "new" one? You're kidding right?
We left that worthless piece of crap on the truck when we sold it.

I'm still looking for hard evidence that HHO generators will increase fuel mileage w/o damaging an engine. I want to believe in it, but I need to have personally verified evidence! The laws of physics have changed like most other laws over the years and this may be another example of it. I'll go where ever and do whatever (within reason) to see and test a viable unit installed and working and producing results of 10% or more on a class 8 truck with O/O specs - 12.7 l engine or larger.

Anyone who can offer the verified results, please contact me through a private message that can be forwarded as instructed in the private message instructions. THANKS :biggrin_2558:

    Hello everyone, :hello2:

I'm snowkitty and new to this forum, and I just stumbled across this post. I'll try not to break any of the forum rules, however, I do feel it important to clear up some innaccurate information that has been posted here.

I know Roadkill had everyone's best interests in mind, and had stated what he did because he believed it to be the truth, however, John Fanning is mistaken.

There's a great deal of confusion in the marketplace because there was infact a company that had a pill that was napthalene based (mothballs). A restraining order was issued against that company. They were taken to court, convicted, and they were shut down. Their product was harmful to both the engine as well as toxic to humans. Exposure to which has been linked to a host of disorders.

There is confusion because when you say a fuel pill or a gas pill, people naturally assume they are identical and if one doesn't work and is harmful, the other must be too. Well, that isn't necessarily the case.

Take a drink for instance, 12oz of water vs. 12oz of Jack Daniels. You can drive down the road drinking 12 oz of water but try that with 12 oz of Jack Daniels and you're in for a world of hurt.

One is refreshing, will quench your thirst, keep you from dehydrating etc., etc., ...while the other will seriously mess you up, land you in jail, or dead, ...even though they're both drinks. Then too, you can compare a ferrarri testarosa to a YUGO. Yes, they're both internal combustion automobiles, ...but when it comes right down to it, what do they really have in common?

The "scam" Roadkill describes is a completely different company & product than the one which FSimcic refers to in his original message. The product FSimcic speaks of MPG-MEGA-CRUMBs is NOT composed of MOTHBALLS. Without getting too technical, it is a ferrous oxide combustion catalyst that has been independantly tested, and PROVEN to work. It's not new, it's a well established technology that has been around for years, been used by the US military, NASA, and other alphabet agencies, as well as used in larger industrial commercial applications. What is new however, is within the last few years, it has been put into a pill form thereby making it more consumer friendly. With the precipitous rise in fuel costs, and more stringent EPA and other environmental standards, it's becomes even more of an imperative, as well as more profitable to an independant O/O's bottom line to use it. It's the only product I've ever seen that quite literally costs you more if you don't use it.

Users are seeing tremendous increases in their mileage & horsepower, and tremendous decreases in both their fuel consumption and emissions including particulate matter. The engines are running quieter, cooler, smoother, with more power. Drivers are finding they don't have to downshift as much, ...and the savings at the fuel pump are giving many independant O/O's the edge they need to be able to stay in business. Not only are their fuel costs going down, ...but their maintenance costs are dropping as well.

I understand how many of you may naturally feel skeptical. I felt the same way too when I first heard about it. There are just too many things out there on the market all claiming to work, but don't, so my initial reflex reaction was to dismiss it as a scam. That was how I initially felt, but what I found was that there were people who I knew & respected who were using these products. People I knew who had the utmost integrity who swore by it, ...so I put it to the test. I had some 4 wheelers, as well as 18 wheelers test it out. One of the 4 wheelers told me she didn't notice a darn thing. She said that for the 1st three tanks. On her 4th tank, she emailed me with an emphatic "OH MY GAWD, IT REALLY WORKS!" On her 4th tank, her mileage soared. Quite a few of my tests came through a fleet maintenance mgr. for a large trucking firm here in North America. He saw a tremendous increase in power, as well as gained an additional 300kms per tank full on his pickup truck with a 90 litre fuel tank. He sampled it out to some of the independant O/O who also saw results. One driver responded with "HOLY CRAP, WHAT WAS THAT STUFF? IT FELT LIKE SOMEONE WAS JUST PUSHING ME UP THE HILL. I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH POWER I GAINED! CAN I GET SOME MORE?" In addition to the increased power he gained, he also gained a mile a gallon.

The top combustion expert in the world initially dismissed this product as a scam, and in the process of conducting extensive tests on it, with the purpose of debunking it, he discovered that not only did the product work, it worked even better than the manufacturer claimed. In the 2 years that it has been on the market, the MPG-MEGA-CRUMBs have been embraced by governments as well as drivers in over 216 countries & territories around the world. It isn't quite as well known here in North America because we have enjoyed some of the lowest fuel prices on the planet. Over in Europe & Asia where fuel is upwards of $10 a gallon, people are using these and getting fabulous results. Now that fuel prices are again on the rise here in North America, the demand for these products is increasing, so you'll no doubt be hearing more and more about it in the weeks and months to come.

I hope my posting of this clarification hasn't broken any rules. I'm sure we all agree it's important to clear up these kinds of misunderstandings. That's why this forum exists, and why we're all here... to give and receive accurate information, because accurate information put to use is POWER!

    Hope That Clarifies,
    Snowkitty :cat:

    Okay...

I'll make this real easy. Just need two things.

    1. Please give the chemical explanation for ferric oxide acting as a combustion catalyst.

    2. Tell us how a low concentration catalyst can effect a significant portion of a combustion event.

Let's have details, not hype. And don't worry about being too technical, I sure I can decipher it.

'Ferric oxife'. Oxidized iron. And it's called 'crumbs' ? LOL. Of what? An old B61? Geez. Roflmoa.

Well, probably not the prettiest solution, but got tired of my Big Classic with 515 Cat suckin fuel down at idle, so I stopped at a Lowes, bought a gas 3000watt generator and a 5000btu window a/c unit and spent less than 400 bux. Yeah, those rigmasters are nice, but...cash in my pockets nicer! :)

I've got allotta free time and been reading everything I can find on fuel mileage enhancement. Some sites and forum posts talk about the benefits of using acetone in class 8 trucks at a 2oz/10gal mix ratio. I tried it in my 03 Ford with 5.4L gas and it gave me about 1mpg which is about 10% - until the computer compensated for it and brought the air/fuel ratio back to where mileage went back to stock. Does anyone have any experience using acetone in class 8 truck engines?
