Congrats on officially becoming a professional driver. If you think you can do it, YOU CAN! If you dont think you can do it, YOU WONT. Go into it will an "Success is the only option" type of attitude and you will be very successful. Good luck to you! Want it bad and its yours.

yeah that will really light a fire under your ### won't it hehehehe and ohhhhhh how they hate it when they see you do well......especially when you get all the things they wanted but didn't get when they were with you lol
been watching your posts off and on......we hit our year about the same time.....i'm just a little ahead of you.....congrats man.....it's not hard sometimes to pick the ones that will stay with it and those who won't.....we both share some common background so i figured you'd be one of the ones to stick it out and make that first year.....
i'm not going to be so quick to get in my own truck but it's in the long term plan so i'll be watching to see how you make out.....with my business head i know i've got that side of it covered but still want to get at least another year in saving before i take that leap.....
the best revenge is being successful after the ex and letting her know it
good luck going forward you've got your head in the right place....you'll do well...... -
Sounds like your the man with the plan...Congratulations on your 1 year mark and good luck out there, I always enjoy reading your post's and feedback.

HAHA yes revenge will be sweet. I have a couple factors working in my favor. I have a business background having co-owned and ran a business before. Business is business. It's an attitude. Second, I'm not really responsible for any bills at home. The girlfriend makes plenty of money, though I do help out from time to time but it's nice to know a bad week won't result in late bills, power getting shut off, etc. By the time I start I'll have $2,500-$3,000 saved plus another grand in my checking and another $2,000+ income tax return so I'll have some emergency funds. It all took a lot of planning, about 6 months worth.
I will keep you all informed as much as I can, I'm sure I'll be pretty busy for a while. -
I'm not sure that's enough cash. 1 expensive repair and that could all be wiped out. As you well know, undercapitalization is the number one reason businesses fail.

I'm not responsible for the truck repairs for the first 2 years. I pay the company 12cpm and they cover any maint. and repairs for the first 2 years...that's why my plan is to have it paid off in 2 years hehe. I will be setting 10cpm aside on my own in a savings account so I will have a good maintenance fund when those 2 years run out.

is that company CRST- Malone?
