Unemployment ??? What you mean ???
Did you not see the part where "lease" operators were being informed where to turn in their trucks ?? Meaning they hadn't made those payments either.
I'll lay even money...the sorry SOB hasn't made payroll taxes (including unemployment insurance) in the past 6 months. And that was the corner they had painted themselves into when the house caught on fire. Forget the repo man.

Well employees will anyways. They will get unemployment. Arrow doesn't have a whole lot of LO's anyways do they? That will get settled out in court no doubt. A contract is a contract.
-
Yes and no. More no than yes.
The drivers contract was with Arrow. Arrow's contract was with it's financial providers.
That's the big "secret" about truck leases. Your mearly sub leasing a truck from a secondary holder. NOT the actual owner/lein holder of said truck.
I've known a few REAL lease operators in my time. They leased directly from KW/Paccar. And their payments were much better than I've ever seen offered by a company. -
10-4. Most of the Arrow trucks I saw out there were company trucks that's why I asked. The LO's may be out with a court battle but the employees (co. drivers) are entitled to and will receive unemployment bennies which aren't going to be much but at least it's something while they try to find the next company that will piss on them (just likely not as bad as Arrow has). Just realized this is my 666th post lol. Just bad all around.

i not once had a problem getting paid. my money was always right and there when it was supposed to. repairs was the problem i had with arrow. they were trying to load me with a load that weighed 48k from quincy ca going to addy wa and my turbo wasnt working. they seriously wanted me to take that load 2 days before they shut down i told them i couldnt because of the hills between the 2 stops. was waiting for repairs when i got the message to drop off the truck. first time my check wouldnt have cleared i would have quit. those drivers that went months with out pay are CRAZY for lack of better words with out getting banned.

I just read on the internet that Arrow is in trouble also, for not relaying the childsupport checks that they deducted from drivers' pay.
And this is with California childsupport!
Hoo boy, there's gonna be hell to pay now! I used to owe childsupport in California before I finally paid it off, and California, my friends, are sharks when it comes to collecting childsupport! Can't wait to see what happens now!Beechvtail Thanks this. -
Heh, I am sure Mr. Pielsticker will really be gambling to make some money. . Probably be doin both with lots of his former drivers if he doesnt straighten that whole child support withholding stuff. -
