the skills course is basically the same thing you take for the state test. Just get out and look. It depends if you re a smoker or non smoker but recently there has been no wait for trucks. Denver just got a shipment in of new trucks so more than likely theres some older trucks for you new guys

thanks joker, been following alot of your post on different threads and sounds like you are one of few drivers with some sense that knows what there talking about and wont get into pissing contest. can only hope to get a trainer like you.. hear they do a 45 degree backing with truck in a fense or something like that instead of 90 degree backing.. does it go off points or is it true that if you make one mistake you go home and come back following week? also was wondering if i should do the 90 day pay options they have or not.? thanks for your time and thanks for your honesty on here , i agree may is one of the best starter companys.. are you out of denver..?
Joker85 Thanks this. -
Yes I'm actually a trainer out of Denver. Its not based on points. Its true you mess up you will go home and but just get out and look and you'll be fine. And yes its a 45 back. I would recommend the 90 day pay they didn't have that option when I started but especially since winter is coming up id take it.

As a former may driver I will agree they are one of the better starter companies, they all have their issues but as a starter company they are good. I run flatbed now with a different company and it is night and day different, but as a newbie may is good, and I too would recommend the 90 day pay program.
