The sad part is. From my experience with companies. I believe it.

I could take that logic further and say it was my partners fault because he delayed my departure by an hour. If I left an hour earlier like I wanted, those deer would not have been there yet and I would not have been hit.

If you hit one and take some of the meat call the local police to get a okay, they use that meat to feed the poor is some places, you will also want to get the deer or elk tested for wasting disease before consuming, losing my sister from that disease.

Deer is another 4 letter word, like snow.
I remember many, and many were not in marked areas.

If I see a bunch, I slow pretty fast, traffic is usually light, then anyway, and multiples will almost always take out the radiator and ruin the whole day.

We have xxlightguards, now after someone hit a small herd and did over 23k in damage. I had a big one almost jump clear across, passenger side, 7k damage, and he was still limping around the next time I went through there, didn't hit any vitals.
    I always slow down there.

I went to two different Freightliners and their body people will not be available until Monday.

My run starts on Sunday. We have not had any issues with the truck. No leaking, no noises, guages look good.

I am thinking about starting the run as planned. Is a damaged bumper a DOT thing?

Besides, in many parts of the country deer don’t have the predators they once did, so it’s up to man to fill the void.

I'd run it. Not saying thats a good idea or the right thing, just what I'd do.

I had a safety guy tell me that too, I’ve never hit a deer but I’ve had three of them hit me.
