So to start I began work back in mid may 2018.
And the week before I started they went to bi weekly pay period, after I was told weekly.
Pay periods are Saturday to Friday.
You need to have you trips sent out by (Wednesday) before pay roll ends.
And you need to send trips and bols out express FedEx, meaning you need to find a FedEx express box before 3pm???
And driver is to pay half of FedEx express bill so about $3 I think.
So if your on a trip that delivers on Friday the 2nd week of pay roll it goes on next pay period????

Miles seem to be averaging less than 2000 per week. Trucks are limited to 75mph. Pete 579. Or Prostar.
Trailer I was told were newer but I've only drove 5 to 9 year old trailers.
Fleet size is about 25 trucks, yet I seem to be waiting for reefer loads often.
And most of the time I am on loads brokered from other local carriers?
I stay out for 2 weeks at a time, and getting me home has been a challenge.
Compensation is .43 cents per mile, 8 years experience all endorsements.
    Rarely see detention owed.
No pay home, or to next pick from home under dispatch. Which I never agreed to.
    No breakdown pay.
    No layover.
No pay for doing a 34 hour reset.
No insurance of any kind offered.
No direct deposit, so check is mailed.
Driver may be charged per mile for out of route mileage.

I had to get a ride with a driver to get to the company. I don't take public transportation. And a rental was not on the table.
I am not sure if I will give notice.
But I do plan on quitting soon.
From this small carrier in Grand Forks, ND. But they park they're trucks in East Grand Forks,MN. The name on the side of the trucks is W ally C ash trucking.

I agree. Find something else. Bring that list with you. Check em off.

The best carriers paid instantly via satellite giving you options on how to direct the funds, cash, direct deposit, comdata card etc. when your 5th wheel goes clank onto a trailer.

If there is some luck maybe McKesson or similar. I think they are HQ'ed in San Fran of all places. It would be a very well orderly reefer situation. Ive talked about my experiences with it often. High dollar, quality loading, instant reload back to shipper etc. The biggest challenge was pacing myself to endure the constant overnights to Detriot. In time I mastered that.

How does someone with 8 years experience end up at these places.
As soon as they told you they
    Have no health insurance and
    They'll mail you your check,
You should have caught the bus home.

I would’ve hopped on the first Greyhound bus smoking out of there the minute I heard you had to send in your trips via FedEx! No telling if they’ll go by air or by ground. And if they go by ground, pray that they aren’t in a truck driven by one of FedEx Ground’s kamikaze drivers!

Seriously, even Western Express does direct deposit so you don’t have to pay money to get your money!!
