I messed up big

You may see nothing wrong with it but this industry does and that's the main thing.If pot heads wanna smoke more power to them but they need to find a different line of work.This industry has zero tolerance for drugs,respect that.

 

As soon as automated trucks arrive..where are you do gooders going to find work?

Trucking isn't a life.
It's a jail cell.
The pot smokers living a real life at a home somewhere..is something to be desired.
Can't wait to exit this bs lifestyle.

So you're seeing great benefits from the job, but you somehow don't get why people do it? Are you trolling? Just because you have it doesn't mean everybody does.

 

Living in a box for months at a time?
Working 70 hours every week?
No relationships.
Hours spent alone every day?
Low pay considering the time you are in your truck.
I don't plan on spending much time here.

 

Then go local, find a company that brings you back every week, or get more money. If it's so easy to make more money, why don't you just change professions?

 

I feel sorry for you, I love driving, if I didn’t I wouldn’t do it.
Once you get your house paid off, what are the plans?

 

No local work where I live.
Rural farm community.
I'm 53,have 10 years to retirement.. supposedly.
Pay off the house,tinker around with my toys in the country.
Try to stay out of the retirement home...where they send you to die..I'll choose my own demise..at a time of my choosing.
Don't plan on living out my days with young nurses changing my diaper.
The American dream.
