They only allowed them 1 call in the pokey,,I don't have $5 bucks, nobody ever paid my overweight fines, even though, over the 35 years, considering all the overweight loads I hauled, on a daily basis sometimes, I only can remember maybe 1 or 2 times I actually got a ticket. The salvation there was the CB radio.

It’s gotten to the point where scales don’t bother me anymore. I was inspected at least four times last year and twice in a month’s time late in the year. Passed 3/4. Only violation was a peeling license plate and got a warning for that. Gotta get better at just asking for the ticket in those situations.hope not dumb twucker, OldeSkool and Lonwolv54 Thank this.

I actually got a level one not too long ago, but passed everything. Had to sit and wait for like 45 minutes for the guy to come do it.mitrucker Thanks this.

Aren’t IL scales civilian run anyway? No reason to pull in them to begin with

The workaround is jump onto Weber Rd, go North, turn right on Remington Blvd, to Bolingbrook/Rt53, turn right, and get back on I-55. That cuts through the industrial park, so no one suspects anything. You can get a truck into Wendy’s on Weber Rd.
