I have a 2019 volvo vnl. I need one of those mounts that holds the phone with the bracket because the backing plate on my phone is kind of messed up. It would be nice to find one that will clamp using the empty switches I have on the dash or possibly some really strong adhesive.

Any suggestions would be great help thanks

image.jpg Make one, quite simple. Don’t need a brake to bend light tin. I also made ELD holder.

I did something simular. Though i have access to a 500 ton press so mine is out of scrap steel because it was free and handy. Only diffrence is the back of my otterbox has a couple strips of metal hot glued in and i put some magnets on the inside of my holder so i could make it a little oversized incase i swap devices. I also got it screwed down in the hole the last company that owned this truck left.

That said to the op if you want an off the shelf solution the ones at loves work pretty well.

I have a 2019 VNL 760. Here's what I have, it's worked well for over a year. Only caveat is I used gorilla glue to glue the cellphone base down, it's normally a vacuum base, but the vacuum wasn't holding very well, so I fixed it! As you can see, I also have a Garmin. Its base is screwed down.

Most if not all of the plastic ones suck. I’ve been through a bunch. I have a metal one I bought and never got the chance to use. I’ll see if I can dig it up. I can’t say if it is good or not.

I have to second the x grip. A little pricey, but they are worth the money.

Best I have found are the Steelies. Round metal ball and doughnut magnet.
