It seems like I read that you could be in the passenger seat 1 hour before and 1 hour after going on and off duty.
And it seemed like hat was a new-ish rule....
I don't know where I read that, I'll try and get a link....
Or.... I'm miss-remembering what I read. Quite possible. -
Mine was better than 11 years ago, so it may have changed.

Your 10 hours off duty may begin/and or end in the passenger seat and is limited to 1 hour before and after 8 consecutive hours of sleeper berth:

Possibly the most entertaining post on ttr. With the exception of the cat that has no interest in driving a truck because he's too busy being successful at his other business but wants to buy a trucking company. Using a cheese grater for nefarious self-abusing purposes comes to mind as an alternate activity. That being said, hang in there T. I firmly believe that success in trucking, as in anything, comes down to your dedication to the process and keeping your mind engaged positively.

My mind went 20 different directions reading this thread. And that's before I got to the back shaving part.
G.Anthony, okiedokie and Pilotboy84 Thank this. -
Wow. And my DOT registered chiropractor guy didn't pass me because I have to prove I'm not narco-leptic. Where's my easy med card? Can you please tell me who that guy was who approved your card cuz I need to meet that dude.
