I need a new seat, the seat in my Prostar is worn out the cushion is dead and my ### hurts,,,,,,,,, that being said. I was all set to order a Knolder seat than I ran into someone who had one and he stated it was hard as a rock well that wouldn't work for me so I have been looking. What seat do you have? and is it comfortable? which options do you have? (heat, cool, massage, lumbar ,or back cycler) buying a seat is Fairley expensive and if you don't like it you're stuck with it Thanks in advance

For me physically it's been very adequate. Not the best or the most reclining (I suspect somewhere they deliberately refuse to allow a seat to really recline....)
Bostrom Seating -
I did look at the wide ride

that's close to what I have now.......LOL -
Sears Atlas 2, came in the truck when I bought it. It is comfortable but after 3 years I am starting to pre-shop for it's replacement. The next will have a fan blowing up my backside. Not sure which one I will go with. I will replace the seat before it is really due so I can have a cool breeze on those hot days.

I have always liked the National seats. Hey are firm but supportive.
We had a pair of those Serta wide ride seats in a company truck. I was very disappointed in them. Foam was junk in 6 months. 0 support. They are in the barn because no one likes them. Leather is still good but foam is gone. -
Bostrom is the go to for most O/O's from what I can tell. They are very, very pricey though. My company put a Seats Inc. Legacy Silver in my truck and I'm very satisfied with the cushion and the ride. It's soft, but not like a giant sofa, and the airbag provides a lot of support for my ample weight.
It's kind of "flat" on the bum/thigh side of the seat, the back has good bolstering and is adjustable almost all the way to completely flat. If I were to buy one, I would not be dissatisfied with it.
I'm not a big fan of seats with the raised section at the front of the sitting portion (i.e. the stock Peterbilt cloth seat), as I have short legs, and really like how "flat" it is. -
I agree, the legacy silver is a nice seat at a decent cost.
