true but its a lot better than buying one based solely on other peoples reviews on a seat. i defiantly want to be able to sit in a seat feel the padding touch the materials in my hand before I am going to want to drop 800+ on a truck seat. whats really comfortable to one person might be god awful to someone else.

I understand I am just looking for suggestions or opinions on what people have. This is all part of the research needed before a purchase of 10 people had a seat that fell apart in 6 months than I would like to know....if other drivers who was looking for a soft seat and ended up buying 3 seats to finally get the rite seat I want to know so I don't have to buy 3 seats to find the one I want. This is a big purchase and i need recommendations

And a heater, plus a chiller. Put the #### thing into the bunk. Feed off batteries all night in -20

    Moi? Hostile?

HAHAHAHA. Nothing is further from the truth.

I generally put people on ignore first LONG before it becomes necessary to get hostile.

Remember the Internet in english does not convey emotions very well What I should have done is write in a deescalating word such as //teasing or something.

These trucks are really expensive, surely they can toss in a few hundred dollars more technology to heat and cool the seats. After all, your ### depends on it. He he he.

mine does that, i have to slide it forward to clear the door, rotate to the seat belt, put the seatback forward and slide the base to the door to clear the seat belt clicker, then slide the base forward back over the seatbelt clicker. i don't have any star wrenches that big but i'm going to try to rotate the seat belt clicker forward a little, if it's possible (i would imagine there being some kind of metal pilot slot in there for extra stiffness since it's the only structural thing that keeps the 200lbs of meat in the seat).

Seats are very dependent on the individual sitting in them. No two people are built the same, so no one can really tell you the right answer. And sitting in a dozen seats in the stealer’s showroom doesn’t work, cuz what feels comfy for a couple of minutes may kill you after a 18...... I mean a 14 hour day.

I have a Legacy Silver and it’s a good seat for me. A little big, but I guess I’m kinda on the small side for a trucker at 5’9” and 180.

After a long day in the saddle, it doesn’t hurt near as bad as other seats I’ve used. I do wish it was narrower and had a low back though. I really don’t see any point in a high back in a truck. I run Oklahoma and Texas and there are no roads smooth enough to lay your head back and be comfy. Lol.

I also don’t use the arm rests hardly ever. They’re in the way more than anything. But of course all this stuff is just personal preference and I’m backwards from most other drivers on these opinions. Overall the Legacy is a great seat for me. It does what it is supposed to do, and that is minimize pain and fatigue over the long haul.
