I could hit the ground running. All I'd need was training to your co.'s way of doing the paperwork and I could be off and runnin.
I need advice. Please.

That was with a major and they do want alot of tanker experience. But the thing with gasoline it's always is need and the demand goes up every year. So somebody has to be hauling the loads. Have you gotten out and been to the terminals there in CA. You can try ARCO in South Gate but they will tell you you'll need to apply on line but you will at least know or get your feet in the door. Or Chevron, Exxon, and Unocal to name a few. There are also alot of common carries like COX that are decent.
The trick is to get out and not call the terminals. I never would take the time over the phone but if you showed up that was different. The place to start would be at the refinery, there are mostly located in Long Beach. Just so you know, Las Vegas is becoming just like Los Angeles so the days of high wages and cheap living are just about gone now. I do believe you have a better chance at hauling gasoline because you've done it before so it's just a matter of going out and finding that job where a driver just left.SavageSam Thanks this.
