Its been over 3 years, so most places could hire you with that offense.

In North Carolina, anything greater than 15 over is actually considered a misdemeanor criminal offense, not an infraction.

I had my cell with hazmat for 12 years before I was hired. Each company told me I either had to many felonies or they where to recent.
Not the same I know but if you stick with it, it will work out.
A site called everytruckjob dot com, was a major factor into me getting hired. It's a free site that's list just about every job. But more importantly it list there hiring criteria for each specific company. In those 12 years I must have put in over 500 applications. Pay attention to the ones that say. Case by case basis.

"Drive Friendly, The Texas Way' signs used to crack me UP when I was driving down there...

Not exactly how that works. Those third party lead generation services are paid $thousands a month by each one of the participating trucking companies you see on there. In return, every application you fill out there will be forwarded to dozens of other companies who will then bombard your phone and email for weeks on end trying to convince you to come drive for them. You tell them your deal, they annotate it and delete the lead, so next week you try again, and they cycle starts over again.

Sure, it will get your information in front of a lot of eyes, but it won't bring you the quality carriers, mainly the big-budget recruiting departments at places with over 100% turnover.
