yea its like everything else you get something good someone cuts your throat now adays cars dont pay better then anything else.
And when you get a good haul few months later someone else walks in a does it for nothing
In my mind 2 things killed car hauling
1.Ezload trailers * as mentioned above before this not everyone could load cars.
2.Central Dispatch * perfect spot for brokers to get those guys that will haul it for nothing

    Good luck to yea

$1000 is only going to get his car to chicago.

Gonna have to cough up more coin for the rest of the route.

Probably not going to happen. You better sell them. Try Craigslist maybe you can find people that need transportation to do it, or a driveaway service.
Probably not going onto a trailer. Thats not even enough money for 1 let alone 2.

    Best advice sell them.

Meaning that he had space and was in the area, and going your direction anyway.
You got lucky on that one. Not many carriers will move anything that cheap.
I saw a carrier from a fairly large company in Erie about a month ago. He had a full load of cars going to different places and had to pull one out at the truck stop. Since they were not in proper order it took a while.
What got me was damage to one of the cars. It was an early 60's T Bird. Fully restored and looking good. But the driver had messed up while loading and almost lost the car. The whole drivers side was bashed up. Trim ripped off, door skin and finder smashed pretty good.
Makes the carrier look bad when a car getting transported gets thousands of dollars worth of damage while loading.
