i have a uncle that runs a butcher shop that pays under the table basically your responsible for your own taxes i bet i can get him to say i been working there off and on for the last three years. is that a good idea?

@Chinatown knows a great deal more about this stuff than I do and he's always willing to help people out.
Another thing you can try is a recruiting service. These are 3rd party companies who's only goal is to get people in the door to companies so they can get paid. This means they know exactly how to word your application and they probably have a lot of experience with people in your exact position. You won't need to lie about anything to these people. Tell them exactly what you've got going on and they won't care if you're legally blind they'll do what they can to get you through the door to any company so they can get their referral checks. -
