your with a mega. it'll probably go on your dac.
if your smart, it'll probably be the only company you work for that uses dac. the rest of your career. don't use dac and you won't even care.
dac is a stupid thing anyways. it can make or break you. but the only comnpanies that use it. are the megas. in utah. there's only 3 that use it. out of 100's that don't. -
DAC is a joke and deserve all they get...
The blatant inaccuracies and false information on some DAC reports isnt news to the thousands of drivers who have felt blackballed in the trucking industry due to HireRights driver record database, but HireRights immoral business practices have finally been exposed to the rest of America by the Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission.

We gotta watch out for guard gates. I was a an Auto Zone one time and the gate was down while I was checking in with the guard. The guard then tells me I can go. I hop in my truck and she waves me off. Then her phone rings and she starts talking, forgot to put the guard gate up. I move forward, not seeing the gate because it's below my hood... almost hit it and the last second stopped. Then she says to me "Why didn't you wait?" Didn't want to state the obvious, but she had already told me to go. I found out later that the gate had been broken the week before by another driver. Same guard. Seems that guard was a little too distracted. Gotta keep on our toes with those dang gates.Criminey Jade Thanks this.

I wouldnt worry about it too much. Ish happens and this was minor. Though it may or may not get written up that way. I hate to admit it,.. but had it been me and if no one saw me do it,.. I would have rolled out of there in the blink of an eye.
About 6 months ago I had a delivery in the morning. I parked out on the street in front of a gate that had been damaged. The company said I backed into their gate. I asked the guy,.. "Do you really think if I had damaged your gate that I would then park in front of it? Even if no one saw me do it"? He said well you had to make a delivery. Yes,.. but I dont have a set appt time. Had I done that,.. I could have left and came back the next day and no one would be the wiser. Seriously,.. only an idiot would park in front of a gate he just damaged. Nothing ever became of that,.. but there will be moments where you may need to remove yourself from the 'situation' and other times where you will get blamed for something you never did.
Dont sweat it. A year from now you will laugh about it. Just try to be more careful in the future. Use this as what it should be and that is a learning experience.

We're laughing about it now.
truckon and Truckergirl0720 Thank this. -
You guys are harsh sometimes LOL
I'll try to lighten things up.
When I was young and a little too eager I was asked to pull an old Mack out from one trailer and hook it up to another. As I was trying to maneuver to get lined up for the other trailer I got my drives stuck on a rail road tie. The truck did not have locking rears and in my effort to get unstuck I sunk the wheel that was spinning. Had to get another truck to get mine unstuck. And all of this was done with my boss watching everything I did.
I didnt know it at the time but he was setting me up to see what I would do. I failed miserably,.. but he told me as I have said. Use that as a learning experience. I did and worked for him for 3 more yrs. That was almost 25 yrs ago.

I was outside Tyson once and watched Don Tyson himself slide into that gate arm in a 4X4 one icy day and he broke the gate clean off...damaged the shack too.landstar8891 Thanks this.
