You made the right guess. That's where I got it at Erickson and trucks. What I did by accident has nothing to do with being a trucker. I just took a risk that was dangerous. Now as a trucker I Will drive in a professional way and safely to. My first year I plan to start in a company that mostly do teams so that way if im driving with a experience driver I could learn more. I really like the road now thanks to all that happened. I hope this career works out for me

Just like the CRE driver a couple of weeks ago, I-90 in MT, stopped dead in the slow lane going up a hill because he missed a gear, or I guess all of them. And it wasn't even that big of a hill.

You have proven here that you make VERY bad, VERY dangerous decisions. If you do any of these in a big truck it can easily mean someone's life. If you are lucky it will only be your own. Anyone in their right mind who reads this will never team drive with you behind the wheel. How can someone sleep when you can't make the logical decision when equipment is failing to PARK IT AT A SAFE SPOT, TRUCK STOP PERHAPS??? I'm not sure how you thought that the problem would just fix itself and go away. I know this is what you were thinking because you drove it for a bit, at 50 mph under the limit, hobbling along, endangering the motoring public, on several occasions. I'm not sure you would even be up to par for Swift. I hope I never meet you on the road.

Everyone make mistakes

As a trucker I will drive in a different matter as that means follow the speed limits, have patients and drive in a professional way like every other driver. Sometimes the easiest things to do dont come in your mind and thats the reason all this had happened. But every experience driver now started somewhere and made it to the top. Im planning to be the best driver I can be thats why when I will be in training I will cooperate with my trainer

One big skill you need to learn is to be able to take a step back from the situation and take a look as if you were 50 feet in the air looking down and say "what would the smart thing be to do here?" Also when you get to a point where you are so angry, that is a good time to turn the phone off, pull into the truck stop, go to bed and everyone can have a good day. Continuing on when in that frame of mind only will have something happen and then you will be ready to really blow a gasket.

Elroythekid and windsmith Thank this. -
Yep, bought on on lark no doubt and good guess by another poster about where this POS had originated from. How'd this ever get released from Jacksons lot with all the probable liabilities now stacking up?

There ARE diesel shops in Albert Lea besides the one at the TA there. Also in retrospect;did you think to google:Flatbed companies in and around Albert Lea,MN.? The one I work for would have showed up and Mark has steps, flats and rgn's. Just sayin. Common sense usually rules.
