Do you know the name of the company to whom they are leased? If so, have you tried to call their company and see if they have a way to give them a message?

Are these the ONLY 2 truckers in America without a working cell phone ??

Bill collectors use facebook to nab folks.

Just seems awfulllly strange.................

 

Until a year ago I never had a cell phone doing long distance driving . Years ago, doing a more regional route, I used a phone in a bag type of cell phone because I was out on top of mountains in the middle of nowhere & I could get service with it. So I guess there's a few of us out there.

 

This lady came here looking for a couple whom she is concerned. I don't see any reason to give her a hard time. Apparently, she is concerned about them.

 

I never gave her a hard time, just asking common sense questions.

Scammers are on here all the time.

And how do you know she's a lady ???

 

Not wanting to hijack this thread, but I saw a driver yesterday on a pay phone in the truck stop I was in. I didn't know they still had them.

 

Payphones are getting scarce....

 

You make a valid point. We really don't know if this individual is for real or not.
