Yes we check the credit score every time. We can't even load with Mercer anymore. I'm on my fourth "DM" and he's the only one so far that's actually helped because he doesn't go through brokers but the companies themselves. At least the ones Eagle is associated with. We always make sure both of us are getting the paperwork.

Eagle is the company owned/managed by parent company Celadon correct? I would run far away from them anyways just based on that. But if what you are saying is true then yeah they are costing you it's time to go elsewhere.

Yes they are the sister company of celadon we went with them because we heard from several drivers that celadon had a great flatbed fleet. Then we found out that they we switching all flatbed to Eagle and cutting them out of Celadon.

Are you doing lease purchase on your equipment from them? I think that is basically what their scam is. Lease purchase equipment to drivers who don't have the funds to really be in business and then turn them loose on loadboards. Leasing operators and turning them loose on loadboards is sort of a recent past few years craze I guess they are just jumping on the bandwagon but by offering LP to people with poor credit they are offering something different. A recipe for disaster if I ever heard it. Some people have absolutely no business anywhere near freight being bid or loadboards. You could do a lot better than them, or worse too.

    Ruthless and TroyandAmy Thank this.
