The truck driver position is expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between terminals, distribution centers, and maintenance facilities. Run will start in Memphis, TN to Jackson, MS and back in Memphis, TN. On occasion, the deliveries will be required throughout the region. Hours are from 8PM - 3AM Sunday to Thursday night. Off on Friday & Saturday.

Google map your area, knock door to door at the local construction and excavation companies. Go see them in person without an appointment. Just walk in with your CDL and medical card ready to pass wizz quiz.

"Yeah im a CDL-A driver looking for a job. You got any parked trucks or know anyone who does?"

If that doesnt pan out drive by the local truck part suppliers.. Tire shops, mechanic shop, dealers, etc and leave your name and number on a scrap of paper for each parts counter guy. They know everyone in the area who runs trucks and needs drivers. Either they whip out their cell and give u a number, or you leave and your phone rings. Ive done it and its easy. Never looked at a trucking website for a job, never talked to a recruiter. And im in a situation that works pretty great for me.

 

1st. glad your ok. 2nd, you have to earn that local high paying driving job and thats the problem i thank. get a copy of that post accident report. not the one then but the final one. i would put $$ up on it. beat it shows you was at fault
