After all the drama is over, get the IRS involved, they will get them to pay their part of your self employment tax, and then go thru their books and they will probably go out of business.
I could suggest how to make the truck break down in Texas but that would be unethical.RedRover, roaddogz1966 and street beater Thank this. -
Before you turn in the truck make sure to top off the DEF tank with diesel. Also put a few gallons of unleaded in the fuel tank. Oh, don't forget to piss in the air vents.
RedRover and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this. -
I dont know bout that... but maybe your a little tired.... and a little red gets where it dont belong... i mean, your tierd after all....
(Do not do that) -
After calling the cops on you why would they give you another load. Also having you charged with theft of the truck may be a stretch as well. I would get it full send a message saying you are bringing there truck back empty. When you get close call local LEO to meet you tgere. Just to keep the BS at a minimum. Kentucky isn't that far from Indiana, I wouldn't want equipment abandonment on me
roaddogz1966, Chewy352 and BoxCarKidd Thank this. -
Btw, you better tell us how it plays out after! Nothing worse than getting to the end of a movie only to miss the last 15 mins...
cjb logistics, RedRover, roaddogz1966 and 3 others Thank this. -
Texas to Indiana.... it isn't much of a out of route to stop in Kentucky...i suggest you drop your stuff in a storage unit, drive to Indiana with a side stop in Kentucky. Call the local leo to meet you at the yard based on safety concerns, then leave the truck there, and catch a ride somehow to a bus station back to Texas
roaddogz1966 and Chewy352 Thank this. -
However, based on my recent issues with trying to get my last check from a #### employer, my lawyer told me that i had legal recourse the very next day that your pay wasnt delivered when it was expected to be there.
roaddogz1966 Thanks this. -
Don't take this the wrong way cause I only know what you've posted. And it may be truthful and it might not be. But one of your posts said your personal vehicle is in Texas. If you continue to drive for this company you will load in texas and deliver in Indiana, correct?
Do you live in Texas as well. I think you are already close to home and you don't wanna go anywhere else. I wouldn't go either if I wasn't getting paid but the right thing to do is return your assigned equipment and then get the heck out of dodge. Unless there's something you aren't telling us. You aren't going to be arrested for quitting your job when you drop your truck off.Bean Jr. and roaddogz1966 Thank this. -
Why would the cops agree to take possession of the truck? They are not going to be held responsible for something you want to leave at a truck stop. This is a civil matter. Be a grown up, take their property back to where YOU got it from, get your money and find your own way home. If you leave it in a truck stop they are going to charge you for having to retrieve it.Chewy352, str8t10 and UsualSuspect Thank this.
