I have auto air and watch my speed especially in heat etc
Pretty light most of the time. I drop air when turning etc
All of it helps, don’t know I get that out of all of them but trailers are always close to that
Just pulled my steers last 2 weeks ago and they were still good. Don’t like running them as far I did and those had 170k still maybe 25%?? Saved them for trailer spares but as mentioned. Never end up using. Tire shop buys them from me once I move to the next rotation
I need new tires for my trailer, what do you recommend?

Keep them at the right pressure (too much or too little are both bad for them).
Don't run over ####. Rotate them every 100K (or a bit before if you're already in the shop and they need to come off to work on something else.)
Some tires do better loaded at 32-34K on the drives loaded than running light. Pick the right tire for your application. If you run light most of the time, get a tire designed for that, and pay closer attention to your shocks.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -

I try and pull steers before 200k. More like 180k simply because as I’ve mentioned before, the entire truck is depending on those two front tires and they take most of the direct hits with these nice roads
Here are 3 trailer and two steers I pulled off
All have the same tread and pretty close to same wear
Need 3 more and I’ll have a trailer set
Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -

What brand are you buying?
And why are they wearing or how?
Any pics?
I do an alignment every 6 months or earlier if a lot of garbage roads and new shocks every 75k and when tires replacedRideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
