No, it's not a felony. It is a pretty big fine though. An Idaho weigh station once told me it's a $400 fine for each incorrect or missing placard. I had one that was curling down in the rain. He let me fix it and go.

I thought it was more than that. Reason I quit those shenanigans, is I heard someone got a $20,000 fine for no hazmat placards.

That's actually the best example of a NON answer I can possibly think of. I specifically asked "Where I can find the placards"

Somebody else replied with "I ordered them overnight online" which is actually the best example of a USEFUL answer I can give.

See the difference? It's like asking somebody "How do I repair the chain on this chainsaw?"

Are you going to actually help by telling them how to repair the chain or are you going to say "Well you shouldn't have done that with the chainsaw"? Thanks for the input Captain obvious.

Try asking tanker drivers at the ts if they can help you out. I always carry a bunch of extras that I collected at shippers. Good luck.

Helpful would be telling us did you have them and they blew off, did you never have them, are you missing one or all four, is this a truckload, is it a partial , is it bulk packaging, what made you decide you need them all of a sudden at a truck stop? If the shipper tenderd the freight to you and didn't offer placs I would call the shipper and make them send them out. That stuff you're hauling is not play dough . Somebody shipping an inhalation hazard usually has their ducks in a row.

So are you here to answer the actual question? Because I feel like you're one of those that can easily be blocked and I wouldn't feel like I've lost anything valuable.
