LOL...but its still an ISX. I have heard that the ISX gets the best fuel mileage cause it spends so much time on the hook. You couldnt give me an ISX for free...Id take a D12 before an ISX

There's nothing wrong with a ISK, it's the item attached to the ISX that causes problems. Same can be said for the Detroit and Cat.

    Thanks EPA.

I have a 1988 Pete 379 with Cummins BIg Cam IV 400 was lo flo cooling but got rid of that worse Idea of Cummins and went back to high flo and single T stat just finished installing dual ling fuel kit and a renewed fuel pump and injectors So far engine has been flawless since we put this Cummins Recon crate motor in the truck in Mar 2009 got right at 330,000 miles on motor also exhaust manifold cracked behind turbo mount and so we replaced it with a poilished ported manifold the total life miles on unit is 1,620,483 My mechanic tells me I am crazy when I say something about trading up to a newer model .

Gentlemen.... I ran across an interesting deal... Fella has a cabover big cam single screw attached to the trailer I want. He is positive that he refuses to separate the two but the deal is so sweet, I'm seriously considering it.. Should I pull the trigger, any idea what I should do with the truck? It was on the road in the spring doing about 1800 miles a week and has set since. Realistic fuel mileage? are those engines reliable? What's their history? Cab overs are cool! is it worth keeping and fixing up or should I part it out?

yeah it would help but your fuel mileage will be low for only 6 cars, but you can buy a 7 car and put back there lol. how much is he asking for the setup?

Funny I've been running an isx for 3 years hasn't been on a hook yet guess you don't like having any pulling power if you'd take a d12.
