I need some advice.

    I've worked in union environments before so I know how the senority/bid situation works. I don't mind doing my time, the only thing im concerned about really is that fact that all the trucks are manual, but im sure I can figure that out.

    That will be the easiest part of the job. Have the other drivers explain to you how to float and skip gears. It is MUCH EASIER than the Double Clutch you learned in school and were required to do on your road test. Much easier than the timing you learned in school! You'll do just fine. :D

    Oh, I'd be careful with YRC, they've been in financial trouble for years. They have a 51.5% chance of going under, which is kind of a hokey prediction, like 50% chance of rain, it might and it might not. Still, the freight has to move and YRC is one of the biggest. Be a nice job until the bottom falls out.
