I do lay mine on the number 2 deck before I load my vehicle. When I exit the vehicle there my tiedown bar is waiting for me to winch down my straps. I always place my bar exactly where I'm going to need it after loading the next vehicle.

But you're right other than that I never lay my bar on any of the decks because I've had them go up in the air a few times and after looking all over creation I finally lower the deck down to find out that's where I put it. LOL

I got my routine down a long time ago and I'm no longer a bar chaser! LOL

    Tall Mike Thanks this.

I have a fairly good routine that normally lets me load 80’ in one hour and 15 minutes, but occasionally I will for some unknown reason slightly vary my routine. It always costs me time and I typically promise myself I won’t do it again.
