Typical responses from todays ###### truck drivers. The man is asking for advice and gets a bunch of crap about an honest mistake in his post. If you don't have anything constructive to add why don't you all go back to being cb rambos.

Excepted... Accepted... taxed English, all the same to me. Just don't pretend to be perfect. The legs on the pedestal are uneven. Easy to be kicked out from under you.
@truck88 - those last few posts: are you just pushing buttons now? Get it together, man.12 ga, dirttrackercm23, MidWest_MacDaddy and 3 others Thank this. -
I am not trying to bash another driver. I am trying to get you to become a better driver. You had a roll over. That is very dangerous. Why did you roll the truck. Mechanical failures happen and you have to deal with them. I don't know what actions you took but whatever you did wasn't enough. I had an accident that was not my fault where the steering broke. I ended up in a ditch, nearly killed myself. Could I have done something to avoid it? Not at the time but put me in the same situation now, and I won't end up in the ditch.
As to reportable, if a truck is towed from the scene, it is a DOT reportable accident. I am not sure if the fact that a wreck would have been called to up right the trailer would trigger that. Any commits on that?
A trailer jack knifing could and should be controlled. What did you do? Did you push in the clutch right away because that is the correct thing to do? Think about it, what could you have done differently? -
Yea i call them super truckers lol

I never said i was perfect but if the truck had a malfunction what am i supposed to do lol i accept my responsibility #### happens all i asked for was advice lol geesh
-
Certainly not bashing here but DOT rarely if ever shows at accident scenes. I could be wrong, but most aren't accident investigators. That would be the state police.Your roll over is most definitely a dot reportable at fault or not. All the best to you.
P.S. bashing poor grammar with atrocious grammar of your own is hilarious.12 ga, CrappieJunkie, David_Simpson and 6 others Thank this. -
Yea i was able to correct jack knife but once the drive tires smashed into each there was nothing i could really do is pray
-
Appreciate it just the sheriff office showed up to the scene and there not dot certified from what the officer said

I'd just like to point out that this post wasn't constructive to the original post...MidWest_MacDaddy and David_Simpson Thank this.

Well if you did everything you could do and the wreck was totally unavoidable, then I stand with my head bowed.
Sometimes an accident is and accident. Good luck finding another job, you should be able to. I thank God you are safe.G13Tomcat Thanks this.
