You have a family, it's just a matter of finding the right job. Companies kill for full timers like you. Dispatch asked if we wanted to go home, Na, already here. I did it, You can also. Trust me, it works.

I've got 2 boys at home, oldest is 5 and the other turned 1 last month. I missed his birthday, and I don't get home nearly as much as I want to, but I do what's gotta be done. I did a year and a half at a bottom feeder company and now I'm making great money to send home.

You need to put your own personal worries aside and do what's best for your kid and wife. While your on the road, you'll want to go home and be with your family, no doubt about it. But who's gunna pay the rent? Who's gunna buy diapers? Food on the table... Gas in the car... All the stuff that requires YOU to make $.

i can promise you this, if YOU don't take care of your family, someone else WILL step in and do the job for you.

 

If I had a dollar for every night I wished I was home I would be in Forbes 500. Got to provide for my family. Back then a payphone was the best I could do. Later My Wife came with me. Daughter was grown & married. If you want it bad enough, you will find a way. Don't work for everyone, worked for us. Daughter always said, My Daddy is a Trucker.

 

I'm sitting at work on my break and it's quiet. And I read this as I was taking a drink of few and literally choked loling!!!!!
