i paid my 2290 today

Sh-it meant to pay mine at beginning of the month. Will do it Monday, the late fee is gonna be $59.90?

 

So far it’s $9.90, still on hold,Oh,they just hung up. I doubt their even in, I called anyway, Don’t want to waste my Monday. But they kept saying, busy with other Customers.Lol. Who calls the IRS on a Friday night?? I wish I could really laugh about it, but I can’t.

 

Who did you call? When I pay mine (actually the wife does) she goes online and 10 minutes later done.

 

If you have the stamped copy, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. The stamped copy is the proof it has been paid. Just send them a copy of the stamped copy and tell them to pound sand.

 

Called IRS today, 1 hr 10 min on hold, was told it hadn’t been paid. I called e2290.com, turns out, I never paid, checked my records, sure enough. Apparently, they can’t accept debit payments, only Efs. I didn’t read the instructions, I guess.I thoughtt they had my card on file. Although, they gave Me a paid copy W/ water stamp. I called the IRS again, 2 hrs on hold, was told to go to IRS. Gov/ Trucker. to pay with a card. Decided not to pay by debit, since, some people had problems with double applications. Didn’t want open another can of worms. Sent them a check for $559.90. What a hassle. My fault. As far as . e2290 is concerned, they said I didn’t owe them anything.
