well the truth is that as a trans system its very simple, just looks scary if you have volvo software and a little bit of logic stupid simple plus the best part is that all the parts prices are dropping down from volvo with the remans coming out so its actually quiet cost effective as well. once you get into them then its really nothing complicated

 

Most I shifts have have harness issues cracking brittle which messes up signal to solenoids.
But the guy sounds like he knows what he’s doing. Can’t beat that. Good luck

Hi I'm having check trans system at next stop I cut it off wait about 45 minutes approximately. Then I can go again. It’s gotten worse and I smell like an electric or battery smell had batteries checked they were good but showed corrosion. I was told it’s the clutch getting hot and not doing it’s job. Just need to get this problem solved

Very possible it could be clutch need to look at it to tell u more maybe clutch actuator or valve is making problems.
