What is the difference between the CCA and CCV? Dealer just sent me a message that both are leaking. Online I can only find info on the CCA and in some parts websites its listed as the same part.
    Thanks

CCA Clutch Control Actuator (Air Cylinder with clutch bearing include), CCV Clutch Control Valve (External valve on RH side of the transmission) i think.

Yeah, its off already. The tech wrote in notes that he Vacuum tested the CCA and CCV and both leaked. So im looking at like 3k just in those 2 parts.

The CCV is the cheapest, CCA is expensive.

Cost2.jpg Cost1.jpg [/ATTACH] Well got my truck back. Here is what it cost to get me up and running. Thank God we were able to manage it.
I guess it was better than needing a tow and having a load on the truck, (been there).
I post this so anyone else who runs into their CCA and CCV leaking on their Ishift, this is more or less what you are looking at. Unless of course you have the ability to shop around and compare costs before getting the job done. Although there is really no way of getting out of paying for the parts, even online they are expensive.

One thing to keep in mind is that even with transmission experience, the darn thing has to be bench calibrated by Volvo. So I wouldn't go around to just any ol shop or to a "guy" who can work on I-shifts.
The costs below include a oil and filter change which is about 500 and had nothing to do with the above problem.

Thanks to all for their insight and replies.

so there is nothing on a CCA that has to be bench calibrated the same job i have done in my shop cost around parts $2000 and than labor is about $1400 with having volvo come out and calibrate it, but i guess this is the difference between dealer and small shops like mine, just hard to see the kind of bill you paid for something so freaking simple all in about 3/4 day job and it would be done, that being said at least you got everything done, this is why i always suggest to people to replace cca when i'm doing a clutch ya its expensive but you never have to worry about it again.

    daf105paccar and QUALITYTRUCK Thank this.
