I-Shift - Transmission Shifter Upgrade

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if it's possible to upgrade the shifter from in dash to handle shifter in the seat? (See pictures)

I totally love the seat shifter compared to in dash because I can use it without looking at it.

Has anyone done this?

 

I don't know why Volvo had to switch from the seat shifter...

 

So if they still offer it then it should be possible to add the seat shifter? Does anyone know what it takes to switch? Do I need a new wire harness or only the shifter?

 

I came around this website selling the wire harness from for dash to seat conversion, but it's out of stock right now...
