Fair Dinkum Mate -
Another story where the rest of us get to say "we told you so" before you ever went.
When, when will folks ever listen? -
Everybody says "It'll be different for me, I have a good attitude" -
So true, the cycle repeats itself over and over.
The noobs come on stating that they've read the horror stories and the negativity and with their rose colored glasses they say "things can't possibly be that bad". And then a short time later we find out things are that bad and worse.
It would be nice if there was some thing that could be done to wake folks up and make them listen, so that perfectly good could be drivers don't get washed out before they actually have a chance. -
ok, I seen this and had to comment:
"Matter of fact, I am still there now... I am sitting at my laptop in the
corner right by the metal detector and laundry room."
metal detector? all of you miss this?...ROFL.. yea, no flags here..
On the part of the shift range.. the #### tach means .. crap... it takes feel for the load vs. knowledge of the payload/road conditions...which of course means experience..
That said, even if it is a roadtest involving a new driver, which he is liable for any incident on a public highway, if anybody, and I do mean anybody, reaches across my gauges while I am operating a vehicle, will find themselves walking... if they are physically able to after I "explained" what I had a problem with.. I yank a flat...load bars maim...
Yea, just came off Cabbage...tell me about tach range vs. brakes
