I don't know enough about Shoe Carnival to know if they run any singles or not. I just have talked to the one guy.

I know Cracker Barrel runs singles out of Nashville but probably a waiting list to get on that one.

 

I would think that a man with all your trucking experience would have known better than to come to work at such a terrible outfit.

 

Been with Averitt for 6 wks. Have an 06 Volvo that breaks down about twice a week. This past week I sat at a traffic light in FL for 3 hrs waiting for tow truck, and was towed with trailer from Wildwood to Orlando. Anybody know about the flatbed division? I have over 10 yrs with flatbed.

 

I know that flatbeds only run out of certain yards. From what I have seen they are picky about what they haul. No junk freight and a lot of no tarp stuff.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I wish he would tell us where he got that 75k a year job he claims he has now.

 

Not at Averitt...Duh. they're out there, but the ones I found want you to run non-stop

 

I was on Dedicated Mercedes account with Averitt for over two years and never had it so good. We lost a big part of the account at the end of June and I came back to TL. Really sucked after being spoiled but I'm getting used to it again. I've been around enough to know I could have it a lot worse and I have in the past. Never plan on staying out with anybody two or three weeks at a time. I will hang in here and hope another gravy run opens up again some day.
