I do it every day. It's just like counting money in quarter fractional math. Hard stuff. Try making paper matched elog by the minute. Impossible to back elog with paper.

I could get behind that lol.

Yes, he was up and drove to his terminal, which was several hundred miles away, but he was in compliance, as far as the HOS go. It's definitely on him if he did that. I'm not going to drive tired like that, but I know my limitations and I don't push past them. Sure, I get creative, at times, to get the job done or get home a little earlier, but I don't do it at the risk of safety. I have stopped 60 miles from home because I was too tired to get there. Home will still be there in the morning. That said, if I'm 100 miles from home and feeling fine, I'm going home. Period.Oxbow Thanks this.

Yes, you did, but, that's three out of how many? I know that Swift doesn't train on paper and I'm willing to bet that there are a whole lot more than that.
-
You don't have to drive tired, you make a choice to drive tired.
-
And when they start having drivers getting log violations on paper the company will gave the penalties
-
it does make sense. because we are all being FORCED to use elogs in the name of compliance, like we are all violators. it isn't voluntary like most of what you posted above. kinda like an ankle bracelet.
-
don't misunderstand me. i am not on the unconstitutional thing here. that was a lame duck from the word go.
-
It's also not voluntary to run paper logs, you still have to log every place you stop and make a duty status change.
The only difference between paper and elog is the manner in which it's being recorded -
oh,and speed cameras have been deemed unconstitutional in a handful of courts and are being removed in many areas.
