Loads booked at 75mph ?? I'd have an issue with that. It's YOUR tail on the line with the high speed promises the "boss" makes when he books at that time frame. I think I found my calling drivers. Would not mind doing it as a company driver either. Been scouting those heavy haul threads. . Guess when I get back my wife's medical leave. I'm going to start working my way thata way. Is flat bedding the entry level?
Research everything that can go wrong. Prepare as much as possible but know that you will never be 100% ready. At some point you just gotta make the jump and hope your preparation pays off. If you want it bad enough, you'll figure it out. I just put money on a truck and will makin the move from a company driver to o/o in a couple weeks. We'll see how it goes.
