If u wanna do it then do it. Everybody in here gonna tell u its a bad idea. Do what u wanna do. U will figure out how to make a living out of it. Its gonna take some sacrifice as starting any business does, but u will never find out until u get out here.

    Loads booked at 75mph ??

I'd have an issue with that.
It's YOUR tail on the line with the high speed promises the "boss" makes when he books at that time frame.

That's 100% unrealistic, and the driver is the only one standing to catch the crap that rolls down hill.
    Wreck, fatality, speeding tix.

Tic tock, tic tock, tic tock.

Yes, I agree. I'm not saying I do it all the time. But I do it most of the time.

I think I found my calling drivers. Would not mind doing it as a company driver either. Been scouting those heavy haul threads. . Guess when I get back my wife's medical leave. I'm going to start working my way thata way.
Is flat bedding the entry level?

Research everything that can go wrong. Prepare as much as possible but know that you will never be 100% ready. At some point you just gotta make the jump and hope your preparation pays off. If you want it bad enough, you'll figure it out. I just put money on a truck and will makin the move from a company driver to o/o in a couple weeks. We'll see how it goes.
