That CAT was a light day, those of us with multi-axle are to blame for Mich roads

I was in MI this morning and noticed a few new road construction sites since my last visit... just wish they would do more than they are

7 rolls, around 6000lb each, width probably a whole lot more than the diameter. Any time I see a load like that it's in two groups with the one not in the nose usually strapped.

I know there are a ton of places that do paper rolls, but most places I pick up are not secured, strapped, or in any way locked down other than having a rubber mat placed on the deck of the trailer and the roll placed on top of it.

And I have gotten loaded like this OP as well... Leave the shipper; go scale; and see that my load is all FUBAR. So now I have to go back and reload. Taking way more time that I wanted to waste.

What I think happened is that the load was "off" or barely legal to begin with, so first driver just rolled with it and hopes for the best... So now you add 1 or 2 hard brakes, and Poof! Load WAAAAY off center.

First driver says Heck with it.... I'm clear, it's now it the problem of someone else. Which is why we are now having this discussion in the first place.

Man that sucks to no end.

Hey dispatch? That load you had me pickup? Well it destroyed the trailer and I wont be able to make the delivery. Oh and I need a new trailer to boot.
