A standard hair test tests 1.5 inches of hair. Hair grows about .5 inch per month. They would have to test 6 inches of hair to get a year and the company would have to pay 4 times more than the standard 1.5 inch test. Not likely to happen.

Your fine if it has been almost a year, a simple search on Google could have told you that... If you really want to settle your nerves do a hair sample test on your own to make sure... You can either go to a clinic or they sell some where you mail your hair out to them...

Also hair tests are company only, they do not go to the DOT as a failed test.

Not true, they take a hair and trim first 1.5 inch including the root. A lab can test any length of hair, but standard is 1.5 inch. If they trim it longer it will test farther back, but they charge by the 1.5 inch.
