Class C is never Linear. It can be made to work well, but it will never be linear.

I was a fire control radar guy in the canoe club. I’ve been radiated on at close range by much higher power than that and never experienced any degree of skin burn, cataracts or even temporary sterility. My question to you would be what’s the point on citizens band ? You could reach out further distances and people could hear you, but they can only respond with a measly four watts. You might only be talking to yourself.

Sounds like you might be interested in playing with real radio toys. What if I told you that recently I was sitting in a parking lot in Myrtle Beach, SC talking to two other guys......one in Texas and the other in Utah ? All on 100 watts of power.
