When I was in highschool I started working as a yard jockey, shunting trailers and loading (hand bombing) trucks and since I grew up around trucks and on a farm I already knew how to back up, I had been riding in them ever since I was a baby I just always knew I would be doing this for a living, as soon as I was old enough I got my licence to drive trucks and have been doing it ever since, never even went to a driving school.

Both of us grew up in the industry. But before he drove, he was foreman for a landscape company that only did commercial properties. Me, I worked in retail until my other half got me in the office at a freight fowarder. Since then I have been in dispatch, planning, warehousing, etc for a variety of companies over the years. For the last 7 we have had our own company.

I went to college for two years and wasn't learning anything new. Worked as a fuel jockey back when there wasn't "self-serv". Did every job at a car wash. Started hauling US Mail through a contract holder. Did that for 9 years then started OTR and haven't looked back since!
