I could live with 5/5 or better 5/4 like before. Much more realistic as I get older. My Dad ran that way a lot. Now I know why!!

Yup and we complain about putting people in trucks from their trainers how all of this works. That man is the most powerful man in the the free world and he don't know how anything works!!!! Many drivers gave him a vote in hopes that he would roll back the mandate. You have to have some idea of how trucking works to make a law. Like it or not, the bipartisan bill that is the elog mandate, was created by people who have some knowledge about the laws. The life of a trucker, different story. We as citizens put these lawmakers in power. They have an obligation to protect everybody. To me, elogs covers my rear end, on all accounts. The bright side of all of this, I get more detention pay than I ever have since being on elogs.

There seems to be a lot of clueless or disconnected people. Preoccupied with their social media image more than actual life. Meanwhile doing time in their mediocre life. Things have definitely changed. Lost in cyber world.

I would say elogs level the playing field. It does save time though. I can't dispute that at all. It beats the hell out of writing down IFTA mileage, making sure to stop once the clock turns 12 to change pages, it reduces errors (especially when doing a split). I think it levels the playing field totally. It just shows who can work and who can't. By the way, is that 800 per year for each truck?
