Jesus, I wasn’t implying that you’ve had to buy tires. All I said was that the cost burden is a stupid argument because if the price of two tires puts you over the edge then you were on your way out already.

You’re right though. Being a brain dead company driver is a hard life. I sure wish I never sold my truck and house and paid off all my debt and put a bunch of money in the bank. It sure sucks having the freedom to move wherever I want, Hawaii for example.

And I will wait for you to find a post where I said that old trucks and paper mean people are cheating. Because I’m the one person who can’t throw rocks at others for cheating on their logs. I was far from perfect when I had a truck so I tend to not judge others for the same actions.

Strange. I would’ve expected Elogs would reverse that trend. So what you’re saying is ......in absolute terms......Elogs have changed nothing. I’m glad we at least got that straight

I have not seen any data related to VMT but My first question would be......who keeps track of VMT? It’s self reported by the trucking companies and tallied by the FMCSA. Ahhh yes the same people that brought in the mandate.

Yep and it don't make a difference whether it's paper or electronic.

Are you being intentionally obtuse? From the start all I've said is there is no data. No data is just that, no data. Once there is data, then I will actually know if ELD's help, harm, or is not a factor.

If by that you mean "the government" you would be correct. Specifically NTSB, the same people that keep the FARS database you swear by. So now we are seeing the objection to you looking at data. You flat refuse to believe anything not in your worldview. It's kinds sad you live that way actually.

His problem is he thinks because he hasn't gotten caught yet that it means it's actually legal.

He runs elogs. He made mention of it in an earlier thread. His issue is that there are truckers that won't get on this train in which there is constant whiners about this. He owns a fleet so he knows everything. I'm a lowly company driver so I know nothing. I guess I didn't learn over the years, or from talking to others on here. If you don't agree with some people, they resort to unnecessary attacks.
