its not about stopping when your tired, its about not being able to drive when your awake, so my question would be why cant i drive when im awake, because elogs dictate that, if im up and ready to go after 7 hrs of sleep i cant drive, im just waiting 3 hrs to go. no i dont want to drive everytime after 7hrs but the situation may come up where im awake and ready to go, so to answer your question "why cant a driver just stop when hes tired",same reason he cant drive when hes awake and ready to go, elogs dictate it and its absurd

Notably any Truck over 10k gross is included.Maybe more Trucks on the road these days? Uhauls? Sounds like a big study is in order here. Need some more regulations Im sure. Need more DOT Funding no doubt. Oh don’t ask those Truckers their opinion, We have all the answers already.
