if your talking about the weight of the tarp and getting them on top of the load THE LOADER WILL PUT THEM ON TOP FOR YOU WITH THE FORK LIFT. and if you have room on the ground to fold them up after you untarp the loader will put them on the bed for you and if you do not have room on the ground to fold them get on top of load pull sides up and fold them that way all you have to do is drop them to the deck of trailer

thats all well and good if there is a forklift where you pick up--if it is on duty
lots of my picks were a preload in the middle of the night after hours----not a lot of fun when you have to tarp a 13' load
but then not every load needs tarped as well
there are lots of people smaller than me who can do it better and easier
if you want to do it---you can

Loader , whats a loader :biggrin_2556:, oh you mean that thingy that HI TAILED it out the gate as soon as he dropped the last pallet on the trailer.

Yes at times they will help but over the years found it was usually ME that did it.

What are these "tarps" I keep hearing about?:biggrin_25522:

I think you would have a better time at 100# than these phattys at 400# I see everywhere. At least you can walk faster than a dead guy and can throw straps without taking a breather in between.

That's funny cause a couple months ago at Hendricks suspensions I watched a guy that had to weigh at least 400 lbs take an hour or more to throw about 8 straps over his load and tighten them. :biggrin_25513: I thought he was gonna die just from walking around his truck.

I pulled a flatbed for alot of years and can't remember ever lifting a tarp over my head. Thats what fork lifts are for! You need to be able to lift that tarp up on the deck however.
