Someone with half a brain in that field could become very rich.
My galaxy s4 has more power than a qualcomm or peoplenet.
If someone design a machine with a scanner to scan your bol that automatically inputs the info would save 5 minuted on your 70 which adds up. Add a back up camera a legit browser. Some other odds and ends market it at 300$ bam instant millionaire.

Pay $300 for what I already do or have now for free or lower cost? Nah, I'll save my $300.

Besides, $300 is a lot of dough for some.

I don't have to do in put much. But I can scan with my phone with Camscan and and scan to Transflo back to my company I do have a PDF file on my phone that I can rewrite at any time I need to input info for a BOL If at home I get BOLs from my company and print them at home. On the road just fax them to me. I just don't want to carry a printer with me.

I happen to be very good with computers, I still wonder why I passed on a career in IT for this lovely job...

The hard thing would be convincing companies to switch from a product they're used to and know to an unknown. I'm not a businessey guy, but I don't know how you'd convince someone to make that switch. You'd probably have to just about give it away, provide training, support, plus help out the customer on their end- IT infrastructure, integrating with whatever software they use, and if it's something developed in house, forget about it, etc. You'd need some serious capital and some friends in high places.

So unless you're buddy's with the CIO for a megacompany like Swift, a startup replacement for Qualcomm or the likes is probably a longshot.

CamScanner is a great tool. It does a better job of adjusting the image of the page. It can turn a yellow CAT scale ticket to black and white with no errant artifacts or blurring of the text. Then convert that large image file to a small PDF file to save or send.

But transflow is still the only service for my bills when I am not near a TS.

Qualcomm does have an optional scanner if your company chooses to use it
